Tom White is the Senior Solutions Specialist for Entertainment at Vectorworks, where he leverages over two decades of experience in the live events and entertainment industry to support creative professionals.

A graduate of Middlesex University in 2004, Tom began his career as Chief Technician at The Bush Theatre in London before working as a freelance live events technician at The Roundhouse in Camden. He then served as Head of Lighting at LFO from 2007 to 2010 and at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in 2010.

Tom’s expertise extends to technical roles at renowned venues, including his time as Deputy Chief Electrician and EOS Programmer at Bath Theatre Royal. His proficiency in Vectorworks drafting has been instrumental in projects for prestigious organizations such as St Petersburg Ballet Theatre, Welsh National Opera, and the National Theatre of Great Britain.

As a lighting designer since 2004, Tom has earned accolades for his work, including the 2021 What’s On Stage ‘Offie’ Award for Best Lighting Design of a Play. He joined Vectorworks in 2018 to combine his passion for 3D design with his long-standing admiration for the software, which he has used since 2001.

In his current role, Tom applies his wealth of industry knowledge to help clients optimise their workflows and achieve creative excellence.
