Kelly is currently an Events and Engagement Manager for the University of Leicester and has worked on events for a number of Corporate Institutions in the past decade focusing mainly on Higher Education and has a vast portfolio of managing annual conferences, dinners, receptions, award ceremonies and meetings for a range of delegates from free ticketed events to high profile individuals. A highlight was managing the programme for the University of Leicester’s 100th Birthday Celebrations in 2022 which saw around 70 events across the year celebrating the institutions heritage and community. In 2019, Kelly won the East Midlands Women’s Award (EMWA) Outstanding Woman in Arts, Media, and Music.

After falling into Event Management for 10 years after completing her psychology degree, Kelly has now began to go full circle to look at how psychology can help Event Profs think more deeply about their attendees, more wisely about the design and environments they provide through The Event Psychologist Instagram Channel https://www.instagram.com/the.events.psychologist/.
