Jo has more than a decade of experience within the events industry.
Having graduated in 2013 in Events Management (BA Hons) from Manchester Metropolitan University, Jo is proud to have picked up industry accolades along the way.
In 2022 she was named in C&IT’s Agency A-List and the following year she was handed a Command Commendation from the Metropolitan Police for organising the mobilisation of police forces from across the UK for the Queen’s funeral, as well as the King's Coronation.
Last year, she was named in the 10-strong miaList 2024, which celebrates exceptional individuals in the M&E sector.
Jo manages event operations for Brighter (Clarity’s Business Travel’s M&E specialists) where she looks after virtual, hybrid and in-person events for a number of global clients.
She also finds time to successfully mentor new colleagues to the business too.
Jo played an integral role in a hugely successful 2024 for the business which saw Brighter win the Meetings & Events Team of the Year award at The Business Travel People Awards, as well being named the miaList Events & Operations Team of the Year.
