Gareth Waters is the Founder and Creative Director of Alliance Marketing Agency.

Gareth's career in design started in 2003 when he graduated from UWCN (University of Wales College, Newport) with a degree in 3D design. During this time, he picked up a passion for graphic design and brand strategy, and that love for working with businesses, helping define their brand values and marketing goals is very much apparent today.

After graduating, Gareth didn’t go straight into the marketing and design industry. He actually spent a number of years behind bars (not to panic – this was as a Prison Officer!) whilst also freelancing as a graphic designer before it got to a point where he chose to take a different career path, that of a full-time designer.

Since 2011, Gareth has been working in various agencies as a creative designer before taking the step to form Alliance in 2017. The company now boasts a number of well established brands as clients, including The British Red Cross, Atlas Facilities Management, HR Leaders Conference, Grown in Britain and Solar Buddies.

Outside of work, Gareth enjoys spending time with his family and finding ways to entertain the kids (between him and his wife Laura there’s 5 of them!).
