Chris founded Print Hub Global with the ambition of revolutionising the print and signage industry by providing impartial advice on sustainable solutions and challenging traditional practices. With a focus on education, partnerships and a new online platform, the company connects buyers in the events industry and other sectors with sustainable material suppliers and promotes eco-friendly alternatives.
A pacesetter for the industry with a growing global network of over 500 suppliers and a range of free services that include consultancy, buying and project management, Print Hub Global has made a significant impact, supporting over £10 million worth of projects globally across various sectors including live events, retail, property & construction, out-of-home advertising and sport.
In 2021, Chris commissioned an extensive project to gather information about sustainable products available in the UK print and signage market. With this knowledge, he could facilitate the introduction of sustainable material suppliers directly to the clients' already chosen printer, expanding the sustainable options within the supply chain, or provide direct introductions to other suppliers that could facilitate the sustainable option required by the client.
Chris and the Print Hub Global team delivers free sustainability workshops for print and signage buyers, even those not directly engaging with Print Hub Global's services. These workshops are focused on reducing, repairing, reusing, repurposing, and recycling.
Chris is also a Co-Founder and Non-Executive Director of Clean Air by Resysten; a nanotechnologies business that has developed a unique surface coating to deliver certified antipollution and antimicrobial performance.
The culmination of over a decade of dedicated research including partnerships with scientific and academic institutions such as Queens University Belfast, The University of Sheffield, University of Birmingham, Heriot-Watt University Dubai and University of Szeged Budapest, Clean Air by Resysten has received international awards, certifications and recognition from Forbes and Reuters International as well as being tipped as a Greentech company of the future at the COP 28 conference in the UAE.
Furthermore, Chris holds several Non-Executive and Advisory Board positions including Resysten International, Hygiene Hub and Hub Global Group. He is also an Event Director & Assistant Producer for the Birmingham International Tattoo; the UK’s largest indoor Tattoo involving over 1200 performers and a combined audience in excess of 16,000.
Working with many of the worlds leading brands and businesses in the public sector, retail, exhibition & events, outdoor media, property and construction, Chris is a Power 50 Green Champion and has a strong commercial background and a wealth of C-suite and board level experience from across several industries including branding, print & signage, live events, environmental and antimicrobial technologies.
In addition to spending time with his dogs and young family, Chris enjoys travelling, outdoor activities, volunteering and charity work. He is a Senior Media, Communications and Development Officer with the Royal Air Force Air Cadets as well as Honorary President & Secretary of the Royal Air Force Lichfield Association and Military Liaison for the Lichfield Bower Festival.
