Catherine specialises in helping organisations engage with diverse audiences by creating and delivering inclusive events. As the co-founder and Director of Attendable, an inclusive events agency, diversity and inclusion are at the heart of every project Catherine works on.
With advanced influencing skills and board level experience, Catherine has served as a Council Member for the British Assistive Technology Association (BATA) and Chair of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Diversity Working Group. Catherine is also an Associate of the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion.
In 2013, Catherine founded Big Voice Communications, a specialist inclusive communications consultancy, where she led on innovative and strategic projects, as well as developing and publishing best practice guidance on inclusive communications. As Director of Communications at Business Disability Forum for 7 years, Catherine was responsible for communications to the forum's 400 corporate members and external stakeholders; leading an award-winning rebrand in 2012.
Catherine draws on a wide-ranging career covering all aspects of communications and events, which has included time as chief executive of Networking for Industry and commercial attaché at the German Embassy in London.
Passionate about the need for inclusive communications, Catherine has written a skills guide for the CIPR on how to ensure communications are produced in an inclusive way and co-authored a chapter in Platinum, a book showcasing excellence in public relations.
