Ms Amy Phillips
Amy Phillips is Head of Sales for the International Convention Centre Wales (ICC Wales) located in Newport, South Wales. In her role, Amy is responsible for driving sales within the corporate market, working with agencies, leading the team and promoting Wales as a prime destination for business events on a global scale.
Amy is the Chair of the Meetings Industry Association’s (mia) Large Venues Group who regularly meet to share best practice, network and continually develop knowledge of the global events industry.
She is also the proud recipient of the association’s miaList Individual Award in 2024 for her incredible work within the sector.
Before joining ICC Wales in 2021, Amy was Head of Business Events at Visit West, where she was responsible for driving the strategy and management of the Meet Bristol & Bath Convention Bureau. Prior to this, she held a key position as Senior Event Manager at Grosvenor House, a JW Marriott Hotel in London.
