Through these high-energy, impactful events, Clean the World Events has distributed an impressive 6 million kits and engaged teams in 225,000 hours of volunteer work since 2012.

By repurposing used soap bars and plastic amenities that would otherwise be discarded, Clean the World is helping to reduce waste and make the world a better place. With over 8,000 hospitality partners globally, Clean the World has diverted over 25 million pounds of waste from landfills and donated over 80 million bars of soap to communities in 127 countries, ensuring that these essential hygiene resources reach those who need them most.
Founded by visionary Shawn Seipler, Clean the World was born out of a simple yet powerful question: “What happens to leftover soap in hotel rooms?” The answer to that question led to the creation of the Global Hospitality Recycling Programme, which not only helps reduce waste but also provides life-saving soap and hygiene products to prevent disease and improve health. By engaging hotels around the world to collect used soaps and bathroom amenities, Clean the World has built an impressive network of global impact, ensuring that millions of individuals benefit from essential resources that help fight the spread of preventable diseases.
