International Confex has agreed a partnership with the International Live Events Association UK Chapter (ILEA) that will see the organisation curate content at the show targeted towards both corporate visitors and event agency staff.
Last year the association bought views from brands including PlayStation, Innocent and Santander, to the Confex Main Stage. For the 2018 show, ILEA UK will expand on this with sessions from leading agencies as well as international brands. As part of the partnership, ILEA UK will also be curating a series of sessions and workshops on health & wellness following its involvement in Eventwell this year.
“Our corporate visitors really like to hear from other brands, not just on how they construct their event strategies, buthow they work events into their overall business promotion,” comments Liz Agostini, Event Director, International Confex. “We’ve got a great programme developing and we’re looking to focus on businesses, agencies, associations, and many other sectors of the industry; ILEA UK have great ideas for compelling content and we’re looking forward to seeing what they come up with.”
“No one is closer to the brands and businesses using events than us right now, and we’re delighted to be presenting some of the biggest companies to talk about their view of events as a marketing medium,” commented Carlo Zoccali, President, ILEA UK Chapter. “We really value our partnership with International Confex, and look forward to seeing many of our members at the show.”
ILEA UK are supporters of Eventwell 17, the industries response to health and wellbeing issues within events. The sessions at Confex will be curated both as private workshops for event professionals, as well as inspirational sessions for all.
